A single species of Maricarmenia Peñas & Rolán, 2017 was known, M. accresta Peñas & Rolán, 2017 from Fiji. Herein M. reticulata spec. nov. is described from the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea, thus much expanding the known range of the genus. Thus far three species of Eurathea Laseron, 1959 were known. Herein two species described in other genera are added: Rissoina liletae G. T. Poppe, Tagaro & Stahlschmidt, 2015 and the extinct Pliocene Rissoa sikokuana Nomura, 1937. Also four new species of Eurathea are described: Eurathea borneensis, E. darwiniana, E. japonica, and E. philippinensis, confirming the range of the genus throughout the central part of the Indo- West Pacific. The taxa in the genus Eurathea have medium to high spired, rissoiform shells with a clear subsutural sulcus and marked shoulder with nodules, whereas the whorls have a sculpture of axial ribs and spiral grooves.
