The Naturalis Repository provides free and open access to publications produced by our scientists and to the past and current journals and series published by the Naturalis publishing house.

Publications submitted to the repository are shared within the Dutch national research portal NARCIS, in OpenAIRE, a research facility supported by the European Commission, and in various discovery services and search engines. Open access increases the visibility, accessibility, citation and (re)use of publications, thereby increasing their scientific and societal impact. The repository is an essential element in Naturalis’ efforts to further Open Science.

The Repository is maintained by the Department of Collection Information at Naturalis Biodiversity Center.
