Based on molluscs collected in 2012, 2019 and 2023, a new species of terrestrial mollusc is described, Miradiscops hovestadti spec. nov., from the Dutch Caribbean Island Curaçao. This is also the first record of the family Scolodon tidae on the island. The species was found in the Christoffel National Park, on the upper half of the Christoffel Moun tain and near the top of Seru Gracia. This emphasises the importance of the highest mountains of the Christoffel National Park as a home to endemic invertebrates on the island, and the need for collection efforts that includes soil and leaf litter sampling. Sequence data are provided for Coi, 16S, and its2+28S.
