A new name, Rubus megistothyrsos A. Beek, has been given to R. calothyrsus A. Beek, which is a later homonym of R. callithyrsus Sudre. Een nieuwe naam, Rubus megistothyrsos A. Beek, wordt gegeven aan R. calothyrsus A. Beek (2005: 73), omdat deze een later homoniem van R. × callithyrsus Sudre (1909: 193) is. Hoewel het epitheton ‘calothyrsus’niet exact hetzelfde is, is dit slechts een variatie van het epitheton van Sudre en valt deze onder ICN, art. 53.3.
