Flora Malesiana Bulletin , Volume 22 - Issue 1 p. 1521- 1530
Mr. A. G. Alphonso, curator of the Singapore Herbarium, attended the 5th World Orchid Conference at Los Angeles, U.S.A. on 13-22 April 1967, and delivered a paper on ”The need for conservation of Malaysian Orchid species”. He was elected a member of the International Orchid Committee on Classification, Nomenclature and Registration. Mr. R. Angus is now Principal of the School of Forestry at Bulolo, New Guinea.
