Full descriptions and notes on their pathogenous properties are given of the anamorphs of four powdery mildews recently recorded as new from the Netherlands. Two are described as new species, viz. Oidium longipes on Solarium melongena and O. limnanthis on Limnanthes alba. Oidium lycopersicum Cooke & Massee is redescribed on account of the study of the holotype and recently collected material, and an Oidium sp. occurring on Chrysanthemum morifolium is critically compared with the existing descriptions of Oidium chrysanthemi Rabenh. and O. helichrysi Boesewinkel.
