The red alga Thorea ramosissima Bory now also found in the river IJssel

In addition to the first record of Thorea ramosissima in the river Maas¹ it has been found subsequently in 26 1 x 1 km grid squares of the river IJssel between Velp and Dieren. Here the plants are growing on stones of groins to 40 cm below the water surface.
