Potamogeton X sudermanicus in the Netherlands

In September 1984 and in August and September 1985 the supposed hybrid between Potamogeton acutifolius Link and P. berchtoldii Fieber (P. X sudermanicus Hagström) was found in a ditch near Meppel in the Dutch province of Overijssel. This hybrid was not yet known from the Netherlands.
