In this revision 11 spp. and a doubtful one are recognized for Sarcotheca Bl. One new species and one new variety are described and one species is transferred to Rourea Aubl. (Connoraceae). Five species have been reduced to synonymy and two to varietal rank. A new name is proposed for Connaropsis macrophylla King, non Sarcotheca macrophylla Bl. In Dapania Korth. one new species is described and one is reduced to synonymy. There are 3 spp. in all.
