Operaria: Long. 5.5 mm. — Nigra, pubescentia brevissima et subtilissima flavescenti-cinerea micans, haud pilosa, solummodo mandibulis, clypeo et abdomine postice modice aut disperse pilosis; mandibulae subtiliter striolatae, haud latae, margine masticatorio quadridentato; caput antice paulo angustius quam postice, a latere visum crassum, supra in medio fronte et laminis frontalibus (valde approximatis) elevatum; clypeus coriarius carina mediana, margine antico arcuato, in medio paulo producto; genae usque ad laminas frontales coriariae et striatae; frons et vertex longitudinaliter striata interstitiis angustis coriariis; oculi prominentes; capitis pars inferior laevissima et nitidissima, utrinque carina forti longitudinali; thorax brevis, quadrilaterus, supra longitrorsum fortiter arcuatus marginibus lateralibus acutis et leviter biincisis, coriarius et longitudinaliter striatus, pronoto antice spinulis 2 lateralibus brevibus et acutis, antrorsum atque paulo extus et infra directis, mesonoto triplo latiore quam longiore, metanoto indistincte bidentato, inter partem basalem et declivem absque carina transversa; petioli squama magna, abdominis altitudine, paulo supra medium latissima et ibi utrinque dente minuto acuto instructo, margine superiore acuto et fortiter arcuato; abdomen subtiliter punctulato-coriarium. Femina: Long. 7.5—8 mm. — Operariae colore, pubescentia, pilositate, sculptura atque capitis, petioli et abdominis forma simillima; pronoti spinulae ut in operaria; metanotum parte basali subhorizontali striata, postice vix bidentata, carina transversa nulla.
