Studies on the Fauna of Curaçao and other Caribbean Islands , Volume 28 - Issue 1 p. 135- 164
The material studied was mainly collected during Dr. P. WAGENAAR HUMMELINCK’S voyages to the West Indies (1930, 1936/37, 1948/49, 1955, 1963/64, 1967), and on a special entomological collecting trip by Dr. Ir. R. H. COBBEN (1956/57). Unless otherwise stated, a date in the years 1956 and 1957 indicates specimens collected by Dr. COBBEN, and a date in another year indicates specimens collected by Dr. WAGENAAR HUMMELINCK. Moreover the Western Hemisphere Corixidae of the Copenhagen Museum were, through the kindness of Dr. N. MØLLER ANDERSEN, put at the author’s disposal. As in the author’s paper on Notonectidae (NIESER 1967) THIS CONTRIBUTION ALSO DEALS WITH SPECIMENS COLLECTED ON OTHER CARIBBEAN ISLANDS.
