Four new hyporheic water mites, belonging to the genera Neomamersa, Protolimnesia and Mixdea, are described from a river in Haiti. Species belonging to the latter two genera are distinct enough to necessitate erecting the new subgenera Voldroguella and Tubomixdea. Nymphs belonging to Rhyncholimnochares and Omartacarus were collected as well as Xenomomonia subcentrata, the latter previously described from Cuba.
