Redescription of Stigmella kurilensis Puplesis (Lepidoptera, Nepticulidae), found on Hokkaido

Stigmella kurilensis Puplesis, 1987 is recorded for the first time from the island of Hokkaido. The species is redescribed on the basis of the holotype and two specimens from Hokkaido. The generic position of this aberrant species is discussed.
