Eerste waarneming van de loopkever Elaphropus hoemorrhoidales in Nederland (Coleoptera: Carabidae)

First record of Elaphropus hoemorrhoidales in the Netherlands (Coleoptera: Carabidae) One specimen of Elaphropus hoemorrhoidales was collected in the nature reserve De Blauwe Kamer between Wageningen and Rhenen (province of Utrecht), during an extensive survey, using hundreds of pitfall traps. This species was not recorded before in the Netherlands. Information from literature on the distribution and ecology of E. hoemorrhoidales is presented.
