First records of Habeastrum species from Ecuador (Gastropoda, Diplommatinidae)

Three new species of the genus Habeastrum (Gastropoda, Diplommatinidae), which was known only from Brazil until now, are described from the eastern slope of the Andes in Ecuador. Habeastrum striolatum Hausdorf & Tapia, sp. nov. from Pastaza province is characterised by a minute, elongated conical shell with dense riblets. Habeastrum tayos Hausdorf, Roosen & Tapia, sp. nov. from Pastaza, Morona-Santiago, and Napo provinces is characterised by an elongated conical, coarsely ribbed shell. Habeastrum decussatum Hausdorf & Tapia, sp. nov. from Sucumbios province is characterised by a wide, elongated conical shell with fine ribs crossed by spiral lines.
